The Parks of Jayanagar

Jayanagar is my second home. My first one is yet to come. Its in my dreams. But Jayangar is no less. With its broad, clean and picteresque streets, parks which spill youth, happiness and rich greenery, Jayanagar is a class of its own.
For those of you who havenn't heard of Jayanagar, its within Bangalore, a city in Southern India that is famous for its Software Companies and Engineers, and of course the delicious Bisi Bele Bath.

I find myself living in a world of dreams whenver I stroll through the Boulevard that connects the Ring Road to the South End Circle. Its a three kilometer stretch that offers fresh air and eyeful of beauty to the travelers who chose the route.

Amongst all the greenery and beauty is the business centre of Jayangar, which holds the Market complex that is one amongst the biggest in the country - Where you get anything ranging from underwear to Televisions to flashy mobile phones.

There are plenty of eat-outs which can keep your tummy full, with a range of delicacies from Chinese [The one with an Andhra bent], the hot and spicy chettinadu food, and of course the native MTR style kannada cuisine.

A window shopping by teh complex is quite a good time-pass - You see families passing by, kids who have bought big balloons from street vendors, some one carrying music accessories from Planet M and Music World, while some preferring to stay stood enjoying a smoke.

Jayanagar boasts of several educational institutions like the National College, the The Teacher's college, the RV School, and many others. This is reflected in the number of youngsters who visit the "kewl" Coffee bars in and around Jayangar.
The Coffee Bars are really colorful, infested with girls and boys in their teens, to middle aged men and women who feel younger than they are.

The Houses in the by lanes are really awesome. They would be really a decade or two old, and still hold their charm for the onlookers. The styles of building range from the old fashioned Karnataka housing constructions to the latest flashy ones that stand more than two storeys tall. The real estate prices in the area shoot up to more than one or two crores of rupees. Thats around 4 to 5 million US Dollars. Now isn't that amazing!

I would love to live my entire life in Jaynagar - Well, if I do not find my house of dreams - Otherwise, this place is just too "awesome". I love Jayanagar :)
