People Who have influenced me the most
My Family
They are my primary motivators and the primary reason why I am here, literate enough to write this blog.
My father, Kalpalli Pulapra Gopalankutty Menon, is a man full of energy and overflowing with positive attitude. He has undergone several crises in his lifetime of over 60 years, but always grets people with his sweet smile. He was like a genie, making my wishes come true, whatever they maybe, howmuch ever they cost.
My Mother, Sarala Gopal, is a lady of her own class. She is a symbol of love and affection. She has spent her entire life helping others and wishing good for the whole world. She is a symbol of sincerity, unselfish spirit and an infinite cauldron of love. The coffee and wafers she makes for me while I was in school and college burning the "midnight and early morning" oil still are fresh in my memories.
My Brother, Gopakumar Menon is my best friend. He is positive and sincere. He never lets his worries show on his face, and cares for his friends as much as he cares about himself. He is an amazing character by himself.
Dr. C.J. Joseph
A loving, caring teacher, an efficient administrator, a voracious speaker and an avid reader and writer. I am out of words for the principal of my dear old school.[Known as Udyogamandal School.]
He is the single big person outside my family who has influenced me as much as my family.
I remember him motivating me when I was in class six - about how I could come up is studies, and how I could make a mark in this world. I never needsed to look back in my life once I had his blesssings.
The City of Cochin
Sunshine, rain, greenery, bussling metropolis, coconut trees swaying in the wind... You cannot just stop describing the charming city of Cochin. Its lovely chinese Fishing nets which talk of stories from times imemorial, the Jew Street that arouses curiosity and mystique in the mind of its visitors, the marine drive where I have spent plenty of weekends watching the Arabian sea touching its shores, Cochin is definitely the Queen of the Indian Coast.
This is where I was born and brought up. My entire schooling and undergraduation was done in Cochin. Its my second mother, and the city that has influenced me the most.
Aninda Sengupta
"Amazing","Unbelievable","Great Guy","Brilliant" - Just a few among the different adjectives that can describe my Manager, Aninda. Technically brilliant coupled with great management skills make him the best person I have ever worked with. The ease with which he manages issues of all levels, and the spirit and enthusiasm with which he himself works for the Organization, and way he motivates his subordinates is simply appalling. He is the most hard working person I have ever met in my life. I always try to set him as an example - I wish I could reach his heights at the earliest. I learnt several lessons from him, and continue to learn more.
Kiran Balagopal
Simple, Brilliant, hard working, easy going - My Best Friend at School, Kiran. He is simply good for a variety of reasons. His unassuming nature brings him closest to me. He is simple in dressing, and very organized in his life. I am slowly getting out of touch with him - for all the eight hundred kilometers that separate us. I hope that our friendship will come up from the trough it is in currently.
